☆☆☆☆☆ Raymond Chan Review by Candice Chow
EQUILIBRIUM CHARDONNAY 2020
“ Bright, pale yellow with some depth, even colour throughout. The nose is soft and elegantly presented, aromas of lemon sherbet, pineapple underlined subtle toasted nuts in poised proportions.
Medium-bodied, aromas of pineapple, lemon sherbet are vibrant, entwined with toasted cashews, subtle smoke lingers with a hint of mineral and citrus zest. The palate is bright and pure with vibrancy; delicate chalky mineral flow on a creamy line with mouthwatering acidity gliding through the palate to linearity and a discreet nutty finish.
This is a poised Chardonnay with vibrancy and finesse, a brilliant first vintage. Match with grilled tiger prawns and savoury cheese souffle over the next 5+ years “
